Voice it - Louise Lehmann
Show Notes

This is a story about a Scottish lass, who at the age of 22 came to Australia for an 18 month stint to have a crack at being a vet.

Little did she know she would meet Mr Right, have three children and two decades later, own and operate three veterinary clinics across the mid north of South Australia.

Dr Louise Lehmann is originally from a dairy farm in south-west Scotland. Her first pet was a horse called Mr Wellington,a much loved pony who ignited her passion to be a vet.

She was christened  Helen, but don't call her that as she might cry! Now that's a funny story you'll hear in this episode.

Lou talks about the time she was discouraged to be a vet, the challenges facing the rural veterinary industry in Australia and her personal journey with breast cancer.

Lou’s energy and positivity is infectious and you won't want to stop listening to her delightful accent!

 Enjoy!

My name is Annabelle Homer and I am the face behind Voice it.
I am a Voice Coach who helps adults and teenagers build on their public speaking skills. As we are relying more on social media and texting to have a conversation, the art of communication can sometimes be a struggle for many people.
I also run a Drama Hub for primary aged children, do the odd MC role and float around the regional South Australia interviewing interesting people about their flourishing small businesses! I absolutely love it!
